Max is a life-long learner-sharer who started his career in education nearly twenty years ago as a middle school teacher in Washington, DC. As an educator, he has worn the hats of department coordinator for World Language, Fine Arts, and also served as a SmartLab Facilitator. Both the President of the United States and the Secretary of Education have visited his classroom to witness authentic, student-directed learning in action.
Before joining the dynamic team at CT3 (ct3education.com), Max spent nearly seven years with Discovery Education.
Additionally, as an international trainer, presenter, and consultant he has a wide range of experience with developing teacher capacity through networked communities and professional development. He has been a keynote or featured speaker at numerous national, state, and local professional learning conferences, including ASCD, METC, and OETC.
Max is a proud graduate of Morehouse College and holds a Master's of Education from the University of Maryland University College.
